As promised, here are the photos when Bruce Springsteen held a concert at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, MA. There's nothing much more fun than getting wet under the rain while trying to build our tent for tailgating. Unfortunately, from our last camping trip we were missing one of the main braces for the tent so we had a short wait for the rain to stop before starting the grill and the partying. Once the sun broke, the festivities over a thousand concert goers started in the parking lot of Gillette Stadium. We all had a common goal to enjoy the music and camaraderieship of a Springsteen concert. We met new friends and enjoyed drinks and barbecue while watching Mr.Freddy playing bean bag tossed. It was a spectacular concert that I have ever been to. Though Mr.Freddy had no idea who Springsteen was and he's not even familiar with all the songs that were played on, but it was so amazing how this lil' man appreciates music. (Bruce knew how to entertain a 4 year old boy. Thank you Bruce for your music!) Mr.Freddy pranced around, swayed his body and clapped his hands while Bruce was performing. Wished I had some decent photos from the concert, but DSLR cameras were not allowed. I only used my low tech camera which could hardly get a clear close up image of Bruce, so I had to take a photo of him on the big screen. Bruce is known for performing long concerts and this one was no exception at three and a half hours. For a four year old child, three hours is too much for him that can't keep him up so late at night. Mr.Freddy fell asleep on his dad's arms while listening to Bruce's voice. Being a first Springsteen's concert, we are now devoted fans and will not missing another show if he comes back to our area.
