2012 Family Travel Memories

This post comes somewhat late because life has been so-o-o hectic for me recently, but my 2012 was too beautiful not to share my travel adventures. Every day, I am so grateful for God's blessings he has bestowed upon us. Exactly one year ago today we traveled to the West Coast for over a month and spent additional two weeks in Kauai, Hawaii. So, here's a recap of our 2012 family adventure vacations.

Our first day of vacation started in Las Vegas. We went to see Red Rock Canyon, Valley of Fire State Park, Hoover Dam and Lake Mead. From the beautiful lights at night, and the fountains in color with music of Bellagio Hotel amazes me. We went up to the top of Stratosphere Tower via one of the fastest elevators in the world. My knees were shaking watching people on the Insanity Ride and X Scream Ride. And oh geez, even somebody will pay me to ride on it I am pretty sure this is a ride I will never ever go on.

ARIZONA TRAVEL ADVENTURES- Grand Canyon, Upper and Lower Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, Wupatki National Monument. Here's the link to my Upper Antelope Canyon post

After Vegas, we headed to see Grand Canyon National Park.

In Arizona, we visited both the Upper and Lower Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, Wupatki National Monument and Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument. I wished we had enough time to go to Sedona.

UTAH TRAVEL ADVENTURES- Monument Valley, Bryce Canyon, Canyonland National Park, Arches National Park, False Kiva, Newspaper Rock, Lake Powell.

I am so fortunate to visit Utah and went to Monument Valley. I had a photo taken amidst the road also called Forrest Gump road  where the movie Forrest Gump was filmed. Here's the link to Monument Valley post.

Also in Utah, we were brave driving in the snow to see the beautiful orange and white buttes and scenic vistas at Bryce Canyon. Here's the link to Bryce Canyon post.
