It's somewhat strange that I live in a place where it snows a lot in the winter which there are plenty of wintery activities to do around here, but I have not had any attempts at snow tubing before until we went to Quebec. I didn't think snow tubing could be that scary for the first time, but after the first time it is nothing else but fun at Valcartier Village Vacances. The park has a tow-rope lift that take us to the top of the hill. As I said, this is my first time and it was a funny and embarrassing moment for me because I wasn't quick enough to sit on the lift and I fell trying to grab the tube. I'm pretty sure people behind us obviously knew that it was my first time. Freddy himself got very frustrating going up the tow rope, when he first arrived he was intimidated by everything going on and hubby had to carry his own and Mr.Freddy's tube up the tow rope. Eventually he saw boy's and girl's his own age bringing their own tube up and Mr.Freddy decided he wanted to do it himself too, but the coordination of jumping into the tube while it was moving and holding on to the tube was a bit too much for him and he would loose his grip with the tube and would go up the tow lift empty handed...which caused yells from him in frustration. He wanted so bad to be like all the other boys and girls that were more experience... Haha! What a wonderful snow tubing experience we had!
Here's our video having fun on the hills.
